The IMA Nation's Capital Chapter is led by a dedicated team of volunteers committed to advancing the accounting and finance profession through education, networking, ethical leadership, and member engagement.

Provides strategic leadership for the chapter, oversees board activities, and represents the Nation's Capital Chapter within the Institute of Management Accountants.

Supports chapter leadership initiatives while preparing to assume the role of Chapter President.

Provides continuity, mentorship, and strategic guidance based on prior leadership experience.

Continues to support the Board through institutional knowledge, member engagement, and chapter initiatives.

Oversees chapter administration, governance, records, and operational activities.

Dr. Brandon Schweitzer
Leads the chapter's communications strategy, website management, digital engagement, newsletter publication, and online presence.
Vice President of Professional Education & CMA Program
Dr. Jeffrey Pullen
Coordinates Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programming, professional development events, and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) initiatives.
Treasurer
Sonya Hearn
Responsible for financial oversight, budgeting, reporting, and stewardship of chapter resources.

Supports financial management, reporting, and chapter accounting activities.

Maintains official chapter records, meeting minutes, and governance documentation.
