Speaker:
Shawne Howell, entrepreneur
Our "official" program will be presented by entrepreneur Shawne Howell, an accomplished consultant and strategy leader. She shares her professional business experience with students at the University of Maryland University College in her role as an adjunct professor. Professor Howell’s presentation links technology, media and results, with a focus on metrics and data analytics. Stakeholders purchase results, not services. Her clients include for profit as well as not for profit organizations.

Professor Shawne Howell
Shawne M. Howell is an accomplished classically trained marketer who began her career in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. She has generated over $1.4 billion in revenue during her career at some of the world's leading companies including" Cadbury Schweppes, The Gillette Company, Whirlpool Corporation and Hewlett-Packard Company. She is a branding expert and strategist, as well as a marketing intelligence expert. For the past several years she has worked as a consultant where she has been able to successfully apply her classical marketing training and business expertise to launch and grow businesses in both the product and service sectors. She currently serves as a highly rated Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland University College, where she contributed to the Marketing Principles course curriculum, and teaches several marketing courses.

-Proceed in right lane, then turn right on McCormick Drive.
-Proceed approximately one-fourth of a mile to 1616 McCormick Drive on the right.
