Event Description:
Our "official" program begins at 7 p.m. with Mr. William Wright who is an IT Audit Manager with 40 years of IT experience in DoD prior to entering the field of IT audit five years ago. He leads off our 4-part IT series loosely entitled, "Accounting in the Information Age." Making informed decisions begins with data and data analytics. Such technologies and techniques are widely used in commercial and government organizations to enable decision makers to make more-informed business decisions. Data analytics is not only a building block for artificial intelligence (the 2nd part in our IT series), but it has opened the door to uncovering hidden gems of truth via its data mining and predictive capabilities. Come hear Bill share his wealth of knowledge and allow him to take you on an awe inspiring trek as we explore the art and science of data analytics!
