Event Description:
Our "official" program begins at 7 p.m. with Mr. Ross E. Simms who is an assistant director with the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board with 30+ years of federal audit and accounting experience. He continues the trek of our 4-part IT series loosely entitled, "Accounting in the Information Age." The digital revolution has disrupted the traditional landscape for providing decision-useful information. From the shop floor to the top floor, accessing, using, and sharing information can be done in smaller time increments and possibilities for driving value and improving customer experiences can be enormous. A key player in this disruption is artificial intelligence (AI); machines with the capacity to do things that normally would require human intelligence, such as speech recognition and learning from experience.
Ross will share his thoughts on harnessing AI to improve decision-making. His plain language insights on the art of the possible and tips to help you manage your AI expectations will leave you wanting for more.
Clear your calendars because you don't want to miss Ross' insights because what he has to say will benefit you professionally and personally!
